I had been thinking about progressing my teacher training CPD for some time. Many of my students ask me frequently how to manage low back, knee, shoulder and other musculoskeletal problems and so enrolling on this course was a natural progression for me to learn more and subsequently be able apply these leanings at my classes.
Course structure & content
The Three Core themes of the training
Before the training you receive the comprehensive the Remedial Yoga Manual (139 pages PDF). We cover:
- 1. An overview of relevant anatomy and pathology with seven photographic Yoga sequences- remedially applied to six musculo-skeletal problems through seven practice sequences (low back, hip and knee problems, upper back, shoulder and neck)
- 2. An exploration of how to apply Mindfulness teaching to hatha yoga
- 3. A Manual for Meditation and Mindfulness practice and teaching exploring how to bring your meditation practice into your yoga classes
Preparation for the course
- Read "Living with Awareness" & "Living with Kindness" by Sangharakshita.
- Recommended is "Satipatthana" by Analayo.
- Attend our six week Online Meditation course
- Support your training with our weekly Online classes
- Receive the Bodhiyoga 300 hour Foundation Manual (PDF)

- 2. Two essays exploring any theme or combination of themes of 2500 words each on a Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation
- 3. Resumé of Meditation Diaries over a 3 month period
