Padmashalin has worked as a chef for more than 15 years and enjoys preparing meals that are both tasty and aesthetically pleasing. He sees it as an art form. For ten years he worked as the chef in Windhorse Trading based in Cambridge, UK. He has worked in other retreat centres both in the UK, Columbia, Venezuela and Spain. He worked in Brighton running a ‘pop up cafe’ business cooking vegan and vegetarian food which helps to protect and sustain the environment. The last couple years he has been helping run Suryavana as cook as well as cooking at Guyhaloka, a monastic retreat centre for men near Alicante. He cooks on most of the Bodhiyoga events.
